Job summary

NUM AG is seeking a capable IT Support professional to join the Cuggiono site on a full-time, on-site basis. You will be the main IT contact for local users, collaborating with Group IT and external partners on global initiatives and local projects.

The role covers server migrations, infrastructure and workplace upgrades, with hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID. English: B2 level required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in IT Support, IT Operations or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (file and print services, permissions, Group Policy, Active Directory basics).
• Solid hands-on experience with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 in a business environment.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Wi-Fi).
• Good problem-solving attitude and ability to learn quickly.
• English at B2 level (written and spoken).
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• PowerShell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-level technical support to employees via ticketing system, phone, email and remote assistance tools.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, OneDrive), printers and peripherals
• Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, mobile devices, and standard software.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Run onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Take part in server infrastructure projects, including the migration to Windows Server 2025 (preparation, testing, migration activities, post-migration checks)
• Coordinate with external IT providers and vendors
• Act as local reference for Group IT and support the local rollout of global IT projects

About the Role

You will be the main IT point of contact for local users, ensuring a smooth digital workplace, and you will work with our Group IT team and external partners on global initiatives. The role also includes active involvement in infrastructure and workplace projects, including server migrations, technology refresh initiatives and the rollout of global IT solutions.
