Illinois Tool Works Inc. is seeking a field service engineer to manage customer bases, optimize satisfaction and service contract performance across assigned accounts in Italy.

You will diagnose equipment issues, restore operations, perform calibrations, and coordinate installation and maintenance activities at customer sites. The role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience, a technical diploma, fluent English and Italian communication, and willingness to travel.

Formación

• Diploma of technical high school or 3 years graduation in electrical engineering or similar qualification.
• 7-10 years of relevant experience incl. support and service.
• Good oral and written English and Italian communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Manage customer base and business activities to optimize satisfaction, efficiency of operation, revenue generation, margin levels, and service contract performance.
• Diagnose equipment problems to the major sub-sections of the system and restore operations.
• Perform calibrations relevant to assigned customer base.
• Coordinate and conduct installation and maintenance activities.
• Support service sales efforts by understanding strategic goals for growth and margins.
• Maintain service documentation and assets per company policy.
• Keep up-to-date with MTS technology and products.
