The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa in Alagna Valsesia is seeking a General Manager for mid-October 2026. You will oversee hotel operations, coordinate departments, and ensure service quality in line with the group's standards.

Responsibilities include developing sales and marketing strategies to boost occupancy, supervising cost control, and recruiting staff with a focus on training and guest satisfaction.

Competenze

• At least 5 years’ proven experience in hotel management roles, preferably in 4- or 5-star establishments.
• Knowledge of revenue management and sales strategies.
• Fluency in Italian and excellent knowledge of English; a second foreign language is an advantage.
• Familiarity with main hotel management software (Protel PMS, Opera PMS).

• To ensure the proper management of the hotel, coordinating the various departments to guarantee high-quality service and full customer satisfaction.

The Mira Alagna Mountain Resort & Spa, part of the international DSR Hotel Holding group, is a 4-star hotel situated in Alagna Valsesia, near Monte Rosa, with two tourist seasons: during the winter season, from December to March, the hotel is a leading destination for a holiday dedicated to snow sports and relaxation in the spa; during the summer season, from June to September, it is the ideal place for those seeking a rejuvenating getaway in the countryside and for those who love hiking with breathtaking views of the mountains.

For the coming seasons, we are looking for a professional with strong managerial and operational skills to join our team as General Manager from mid-October 2026 .

Responsibility:

• To ensure the proper management of the hotel, coordinating the various departments to guarantee a high-quality service and full customer satisfaction.
• To develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase the hotel’s visibility, occupancy rates and financial performance.
• Ensure the correct application of the service and quality standards defined by the Group and ensure that all staff strictly comply with health and safety regulations.
• Manage guest feedback, ensuring that any issues are resolved and fostering long-term relationships with guests.
• In coordination with the Administrative Management, monitor costs and revenue in line with the allocated budget and implement appropriate corrective measures.
• Recruit and select staff in coordination with the Human Resources Department, carrying out the necessary administrative procedures for hiring and terminations (signing documents, filing, etc.); ensure the proper management of staff in accordance with the guidelines of the Human Resources department, whilst complying with the provisions of the employment contract, promoting their education and training, and arranging suitable accommodation for staff.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ proven experience in hotel management roles, preferably in 4- or 5-star establishments.
• Knowledge of revenue management and sales strategies.
• A hands-on approach, leadership skills, communication skills and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on quality service.
• Fluency in Italian and excellent knowledge of English; knowledge of a second foreign language is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and the main hotel management software packages (Protel PMS, Opera PMS).
• Flexibility regarding working hours and a willingness to work at weekends or on public holidays, if necessary.
