A.S. Watson Group is seeking a Front End Developer to build modern, reliable front-end solutions across digital channels.

You will work with JavaScript, TypeScript and current front-end technologies, delivering secure, scalable UIs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve performance and customer value. Competenze

Proven experience building modern web apps with JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks.
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Experience integrating apps with APIs and delivering secure, high-performing experiences.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with prioritisation skills.
Collaborative mindset and openness to learning, including AI-powered tools.
Degree in IT/CS or related; 2+ years in software development; retail or international exposure is a plus.

As a Front End Developer, you will deliver front-end development scope with growing autonomy, owning quality, supporting delivery and contributing to high-performing digital experiences. Working collaboratively across teams, you will help improve product quality, performance and customer value while supporting the growth and development of colleagues. Through technical excellence, delivery focus and continuous improvement, you will play an important role in creating digital experiences that shape how millions of customers experience our brands so we can put a smile on our customers’ faces today and tomorrow.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop engaging, reliable front-end solutions that support seamless customer experiences across digital channels.
Build clean, secure and high-performing user interfaces using modern development practices and established design standards.
Develop scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript and modern front-end technologies.
Create responsive digital experiences that work effortlessly across devices, browsers and screen sizes.
Integrate front-end solutions with APIs and backend services to deliver connected customer journeys.
Use approved AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve quality and accelerate delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
Take ownership of resolving issues and continuously improving performance, usability and overall product quality.
Share knowledge and provide practical support to junior developers, helping to build capability and confidence across the team.

What You'll Bring

Experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript and contemporary front-end frameworks.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and accessibility best practices.
Experience integrating applications with APIs and delivering secure, high-performing digital experiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise work and deliver effective solutions.
A collaborative mindset, with a passion for learning, sharing knowledge and embracing new technologies, including AI-powered tools.
A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, together with at least two years' experience in a software development environment. Experience within retail, customer-focused or international organisations would be advantageous.
