Job summary

LGC Standards, a division of LGC Group, is hiring a Quoting Specialist (m/f/d) who speaks French to support our global customer base from Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. You will quote, assist, and guide customers through the ordering process, collaborating with Sales, Operations and Customer Service to ensure a seamless experience.

In this hybrid role, you’ll manage inquiries across phone, email, and digital channels, build strong relationships, and contribute to a high level of customer

Qualifications

• Fluent French and strong English language skills are a must.
• Experience in customer service, quotations, sales support, inside sales or a similar customer-facing role.
• A proactive mindset and genuine desire to help customers succeed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Experience using CRM systems and business systems such as Salesforce, IFS or similar.
• Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions.

Responsibilities

• Creating accurate and timely quotations for customers across French-speaking markets
• Managing customer enquiries and helping customers find the right products and solutions
• Following up on quotations and supporting their conversion into orders
• Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a trusted point of contact
• Working collaboratively with Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Operations teams
• Supporting customers across phone, email, Salesforce and digital channels
• Encouraging adoption of our webshop and digital self-service solutions
• Handling regulated product enquiries responsibly and in line with compliance requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and internal processes
