Job summary

Kelvion in Parma, Italy is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with a strong FOOD market background to drive connections within identified accounts and lead technical and commercial negotiations.

You will prepare calculations and quotes for new equipment and services, collaborate with the Service team for maintenance or revamping, and manage assigned Customers with a focus on growth and long-term relationships. Fluency in English and Italian is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the FOOD market.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of heat exchangers, thermodynamics, and thermal/fluid concepts.
• Customer-facing technical support and commercial discussions experience.
• Proven ability to develop meetings with food customers (6–7 visits per month).
• Fluency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM use.
• Excellent communication, persistence, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop connections within already identified relevant accounts with FOOD Market
• Technical and commercial negotiations
• Preparation of calculations and quotes including follow-up and contract closures mainly for new equipment but also service
• If necessary cooperation with Service team for sales of maintenance or revamping
• Account management for assigned Customers.
