JD.com, a leading global technology and e-commerce group, is seeking an ambitious Category Manager to lead the Food category. You will own end-to-end category strategies, align with suppliers, and translate market insights into compelling assortments that delight customers worldwide.

Joining our Joybuy-focused expansion, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Marketing and Product to optimize pricing, promotions and inventory for local markets in Italy and beyond.

Formación

• Experience in category management, buying, merchandising or procurement.
• Ability to build meaningful supplier relationships and translate insights into strategies.
• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end category management: assortment, pricing, supplier management, inventory and promotions.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with key national, regional and local suppliers.
• Analyse category performance, customer demand, market trends and assortment gaps to identify growth opportunities.
• Build and continuously optimise the product assortment to meet local customer needs.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure healthy stock availability and inventory efficiency.
• Develop and execute category sales strategies, including pricing and promotional activities.
• Develop long-term category strategies tailored to local market needs.
• Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Marketing, Operations and Product teams.
