Walks & Devour in Florence is seeking a freelance Ground Operations Coordinator to support daily tour operations in the city center. You will coordinate guides, partners, and logistics to keep walking tours, food tours, and private experiences running smoothly.

Based in Florence, you must be fluent in English and Italian, available on weekends and evenings, and hold a Partita IVA or be willing to register one.

Competenze

• Experience in tourism or tours & activities is preferred.
• Fluent in English and Italian required.
• Based in Florence city center or able to work there.
• Partita IVA (VAT number) required or willing to register.

Mansioni

• Tour coordination: collect tickets, check in guests, resolve issues on the ground, and complete post-tour reports.
• Manage day-to-day operations and post-tour reconciliation.
• Accounting support: ticket tracking and operational expenses.
• Materials and branding: procurement and distribution.
• Operational quality: identify improvements to tours, suppliers, procedures, and itineraries.
• Support the Operations team with guide switching, escalations, and resource planning.
• Flag and elevate ongoing non-compliance with procedures when needed.
• Suggest tour or contract updates to the Ground Operations Manager.
