Job summary

Alstom in Lombardy is seeking a Fleet & Depot Planner to coordinate depot maintenance planning for trains. You will schedule maintenance activities, report status, and keep production teams informed of time slots, working with maintenance, retrofit, engineering and external teams.

The role requires an engineering degree, at least 3 years in process supervision, and strong knowledge of maintenance processes. Proficiency in SAP CS/PM and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field.
• 3+ years in process supervision/production environment.
• Experience in planning (railway or production).
• Strong maintenance process knowledge.
• Good IT skills, SAP CS/PM and MS Office.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Fluency in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and prioritize depot maintenance activities as primary goal.
• Report status of depot maintenance and follow up.
• Keep production teams informed about scheduled time slots.
• Interface between maintenance, retrofit, engineering and external teams.
• Supervise maintenance activities on all trains in workshop per time slots.
• Monitor workshop infrastructure status and tooling needs.
• Ensure workload balance and optimal saturation.
• Verify time slots for all train maintenance cycle and handovers.
• Incorporate special project requests into planning via SAP.
• Report delays and root causes; analyze issues for future improvement.
• Interface with Supply Chain.
• Use KPI to optimize production workload according to schedule.
• Attend extraordinary planning meetings for contingencies.
• Create and release notifications and service orders for maintenance.
• Optimize fleet maintenance planning based on availability KPI.
• Identify backup solutions when needed to reach targets.
• Measure and monitor planning efficiency and propose improvements.
