Generali is seeking a Financial Controller – Compensation Cost for its GOSP Unit in Italy. You will oversee end-to-end forecasting, budgeting and planning for compensation costs across eight branches, driving alignment with senior finance leaders and HR.
The role emphasizes accurate analysis and tool-driven insights. You will manage SAP and Tagetik structures, challenge salary assumptions, and support major initiatives like new branches, joint ventures, or transformations, with a focus on
is GOSP Unit managing the Planning, Monitoring and Control of compensation cost for all 8 branches of GOSP.
It also produces GOSP’s main planning reports addressed to the Company’s top management, Group Finance and to the CFOs of the main Business Units within Generali Group.
As GOSP’s new Financial Controller – Compensation Cost, you will play a pivotal role in planning & control of compensation costs, working in close alignment with your Unit Head, Department Head and with the HR Division. You will develop a complete understanding of the components of the compensation cost in the various Countries where GOSP operates, always comparing top-down assumptions with bottom-up evidence from accounting information.
You are passionate about striking the right balance between synthesis and analysis in your reports, adapting your approach to different audiences. You combine transparent communication with accuracy and a strong commitment to continuously improving tools, processes over time.

Gross annual salary ranging between 45K€ and 55K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
