Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Field Service Engineer for the Surgery division in Italy. You will install, maintain, and repair electrosurgical systems, ultrasound devices, and robotic systems at customer sites, ensuring service quality and contractual compliance.

You will collaborate with Clinical Engineers and Hospital Technicians, offer remote support, and contribute to service tenders and cost-saving improvements while adhering to ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (preferably biomedical, mechanical, electronic) or equivalent, and more than 12 months’ experience in the field of after-sales technical assistance.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate – B2
• Type B driving license
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving aptitude
• Knowledge of international standards IEC 60601 and IEC EN 62353

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment in the assigned territory.
• Liaises with customers on technical and commercial matters.
• Provide technical and functional support for equipment covered by service.
• Prepare repair quotations and support commercial negotiations.
• Deliver on-site activities to ensure continuous operation.
• Promote and sell technical service contracts.
