Healthcare Italy is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced microscopy systems across Italy, with a focus on the north and central regions. You will perform installations, preventive maintenance, calibration and repairs for widefield and confocal microscopes in academic, clinical and industrial labs.

Reporting to the National Service Manager, you will manage service cases from first contact to resolution, travel as required, and collaborate with internal specialists to resolve

Competenze

• Degree (or equivalent) in Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Optics, Life Sciences (or similar).
• Strong understanding of optical systems, lasers, detectors and precision mechanics.
• Proven troubleshooting skills at system/component level.
• Confident with Windows systems, image acquisition software and basic networking.
• Excellent customer-facing communication; calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
• Self-motivated, organised, able to travel and handle equipment up to 25 kg.
• Full IT driving licence; based in Milan or Florence.

Mansioni

• Deliver service visits, preventive maintenance, installation, calibration and repair of microscopes.
• Provide hardware/software support, fault-finding and troubleshooting using diagnostic tools.
• Keep CRM cases updated, produce reports, communicate progress and escalate issues when needed.
• Deliver customer training on microscope operation.
• Maintain service stock/tools and follow service protocols.
• Work with internal specialists to resolve complex technical/application issues.
