Job summary

Aman Venice in Venice, Italy, seeks a bright F&B Host/Hostess Trainee to support breakfast, lunch and service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. The role starts in February 2027, with focus on delivering a memorable dining experience in a historic luxury setting.

Ideal candidates present excellent grooming, strong English communication, and a collaborative spirit to assist in events and daily operations within the restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and fluent in English.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standard.
• Experience with Micros is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of dining room and kitchen procedures helpful.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact when guests enter the dining area.
• Welcomes guest according to the resort standards and escorts them to their table.
• Assisting the F&B leadership team on ensuring the overall dining experience expectations of the guest are memorable.
• Satisfying guest needs and exceeding their expectations by projecting a positive hotel image through proper grooming, appropriate verbal communication, and taking responsibility of guest needs.
• Assisting in the setup and breakdown of special events and functions.
• Support the team in managing email communications.
• Completing opening & closing responsibilities.
