Job summary

Exyte GmbH is seeking an Expert Commercial Project Manager to safeguard commercial interests across the EPC project lifecycle, ensuring strong financial performance and effective contract management.

You will lead procurement strategies, negotiate with clients and suppliers, oversee risk, and report on commercial status to stakeholders in an international environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical qualification.
• Several years of experience in commercial management within large-scale EPC projects.
• Strong understanding of contract management, commercial negotiations, and claims management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulations, industry standards, and commercial best practices.
• Proven ability to analyze financial and contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international project environment.
• Chartered Engineer status and/or a Master's degree is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial activities throughout project execution to ensure successful financial outcomes.
• Develop and implement procurement and commercial strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Manage contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Oversee commercial aspects of client accounts, including claims, variations, forecasts, and reporting.

• Provide management with clear commercial status reports and recommendations on contract-related matters.
