Mandarin Oriental Milan seeks an Events Intern to support the Events and Sales team in coordinating and executing events, ensuring accurate communication and high service standards in line with MOHG guidelines. Reports to the Events Manager.

Responsibilities include assisting with BEOs, group resumes, updating event info, and supporting logistics, meetings, and post-event reviews. Perfect for candidates eager to learn in luxury hospitality.

Formación

Proficient in English and Italian; strong organizational skills.
Interest in events and hospitality operations.
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Good computer skills, including MS Office.

Responsabilidades

Assist in coordinating events and ensure accurate communication to departments.

Maintain event information in systems and documentation.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Events Department in Milan, the Events Intern is responsible for supporting the Events and Sales team in coordinating and executing events, ensuring accurate communication, efficient organization, and a high level of service in line with Mandarin Oriental standards. The Events Intern reports to the Events Manager.

As Events Intern, you willbe responsiblefor the following duties:

To assist in the coordination of events, ensuring all operational details are communicated accurately to relevant departments
To support preparation and distribution of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Group Resumes
To assist in updating event information, ensuring accuracy in systems and documentation
To support the organization of event logistics including timing, setup, and guest requirements
To assist in managing event data within systems (e.g. Delphi), ensuring correct input of bookings and details
To support preparation of reports, correspondence, and event documentation
To assist in maintaining trace systems and event tracking tools
To support internal communication of group updates and changes
To assist during events where required, ensuring smooth operations and service delivery
To support preparation for meetings, including briefings and event reviews
To attend daily briefings and departmental meetings
To carry out any additional duties as required to support Events operations

To communicate effectively in both English and Italian, written and verbal
To demonstrate a strong interest in events, sales, and hospitality operations
To exhibit a proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach
To show strong communication and interpersonal skills

To possess good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
