Hymson Laser Machinery in Tavazzano with Villavesco, Lombardy, seeks an early-career Solutions Engineer to support the technical interface between European customers and Hymson’s headquarters in China. You will translate customer needs into clear technical requirements, contribute to solution development and pre-sales activities, and help evaluate laser metal cutting and automation solutions.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
This is an early-career opportunity suitable for recent graduates and candidates with up to two years of relevant professional experience.
Solid understanding of complex technical systems and a willingness to learn industrial machinery, laser cutting and automation concepts quickly.
Hands-on exposure through internships, university projects, thesis work, research, or early professional experience in mechatronic system design, robotics/automation, controls/sensing, industrial software, or requirements engineering.
Comfortable interacting with customers and internal stakeholders, with the ability to organize ambiguous needs into clear technical tasks and documentation.

Mansioni

Gather customer needs and translate them into clear technical requirements and specifications covering mechanical systems, motion/control, sensors, automation interfaces, safety, and performance.
Support opportunity qualification with Sales, prepare technical inputs for proposals, and explain system capabilities to customers clearly.
Participate in technical demonstrations and trials in showrooms or at customer sites, including setup and parameter tuning.
Support customer-specific solution configuration, feasibility and risk assessment, and technical clarification among customers, the European team, and HQ Engineering.
Support technical competitor benchmarking and summarize insights for positioning and roadmap discussions with HQ.
Create and maintain technical product documentation, application notes, and internal knowledge-base materials.
Contribute product messages, use cases, and content for events, webinars, and customer workshops; represent the company at exhibitions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
