W EXECUTIVE, a leading European industrial manufacturing company, is seeking a Sales Director to lead the Sales function across Europe in a make-to-order environment. The role focuses on business development, profitable growth, and transforming sales processes to deliver margin targets.

The candidate will report to the Executive Vice President and drive coaching, pricing optimization, and data-driven decision-making across CRM/ERP systems, while collaborating with Finance, Planning, Engineering,

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Economics/Business Administration.
• Proven senior commercial leadership in industrial manufacturing (B2B).
• Experience transforming and optimizing sales processes.
• Experience with strategic customers across Europe.
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities translating data into actions.
• Understanding of cost structures and profitability drivers.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and change management.
• Experience in multicultural international teams.
• Fluent in English; German a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the sales strategy for Europe.
• Develop key accounts and strategic prospects.
• Oversee quotations, pricing, and margins.
• Lead and develop the Sales team.
• Improve sales processes and CRM/ERP data usage.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal, Operations.
• Define KPIs and dashboards for pipeline and performance.
• Implement customer credit policies with Finance.
