Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services is hiring a Tendering Support Engineer in Vignate to back bid and proposal activity. You will provide engineering input, develop preliminary designs for ETO projects and prepare technical content for customer proposals.

The role requires strong communication, engineering acumen, and the ability to translate customer requirements into compliant, competitive solutions with occasional travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required or equivalent.
• Experience in tendering, pre‑sales or engineering roles.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and translate to proposals.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to tendering and proposals.
• Develop preliminary designs, sizing, configurations and BOM for ETO projects.
• Review customer specs and define optimal technical solutions.
• Create technical documentation and clarifications for proposals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to validate feasibility and costs.
• Estimate engineering hours and support order execution.
• Ensure compliance with standards and manage risks.
• Support face‑to‑face customer meetings (up to 10% travel).
