Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking an Enviroment, Health & Safety Training & Comms Intern to design, develop and deliver global training initiatives. You will support cross‑functional projects, conduct needs analyses, and create multimedia learning materials while aiding internal communication campaigns to promote EHS culture.

The role involves coordinating training logistics, evaluating program impact, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across the company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training and development methods and techniques.
• Proficient with MS Office; SharePoint, Forms, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Know-how to identify training needs and evaluate results.
• Experience in web design and content production, copywriting/editing a plus.
• Strong judgment, time management, and professional networking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong planning skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Humanities, EHS, or Comms/Marketing.
• English level C1; Italian/French a plus.

Your role

We are looking for an Enviroment, Health & Safety Training & Comms Intern who will support the design, development and delivery of training initiatives aimed at enhancing our global EHS awareness and performance. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to several cross‑functional projects, from conducting training needs analyses to developing multimedia learning materials, while also supporting internal communication campaigns that promote EHS culture throughout the company.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver training programs aligned with business needs.
• Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with managers and stakeholders.
• Create effective and engaging training materials (presentations, e‑learning modules, guides, videos).
• Coordinate the training calendar, logistics, and participant communications.
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback and KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement internal communication plans to support projects and initiatives.
• Draft and edit content for internal communication channels.
• Ensure consistency of messaging with company values and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure alignment and impact.
• Monitor and analyze communication effectiveness and employee engagement levels.

Main Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of training and development methods and techniques
• Microsoft Office package (i.e. SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Excel, PPT), photo and video‑editing software is an asset
• Knowledge of methods to identify training needs, reporting and evaluating results of needs assessments, and analyzing performance problems.
• Ability to apply basic evaluation techniques.
• Experience in web design and content production is a plus like also in copywriting and editing
• Ability to exercise judgment, make decisions, establish professional contacts, and organize time with the appropriate supervision.
• Good communication (oral and written) presentation skills, outstanding organizational and planning abilities
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Humanities, EHS, Communication & Marketing
• English Level C1
• Italian, French, others (nice to have)
