EssilorLuxottica, a global leader in eyewear, is seeking an EHS Intern to join the Health, Safety & Environment team and support regulatory compliance across our optical retail stores. The role offers hands-on experience with HSE processes, documentation management, and safety programs in a dynamic retail environment.

You will perform on-site inspections, help organize training sessions, monitor safety records, and contribute to improving HSE workflows using digital tools.

Your role

We are looking for an EHS Intern who will join the Health, Safety & Environment team and support the RSPP and ASPP in ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations across a network of optical retail stores. This role offers hands-on experience in HSE processes, documentation management, and regulatory compliance within a dynamic retail environment.

Main Responsibilities

• On-site inspections to verify the condition of the stores and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in organizing and coordinating training sessions and occupational health medical visits
• Monitor and update documentation related to employee safety training and mandatory instruction programs
• Support the management of occupational health surveillance activities and related records
• Maintain and update the schedule of mandatory health and safety activities in line with current legislation
• Contribute to the improvement and efficiency of HSE processes through the use of digital tools

Main Requirements

• Good knowledge and interest in occupational health and safety regulations (Italian Legislative Decree 81/08)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and word
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
• Availability to travel within the territory
