Job summary

Satispay is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager for the Consumer domain. You will lead three teams via Engineering Managers and a Staff Engineer, shaping technical direction and delivering scalable backend services in a fintech context.

You will coach managers, own the domain strategy, and collaborate with cross-domain leaders to ensure reliable execution and architectural excellence across PostgreSQL, Java/Spring, and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in backend engineering with 4+ years managing engineers.
• Fluency in English and leadership experience in product-driven environments.
• Fintech exposure and cloud-based system design are preferred.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cross-team delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Consumer domain across multiple teams and managers.
• Mentor reporting managers and engineers to raise performance.
• Translate product goals into a clear technical roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product leadership and senior engineers on standards.
• Report risk, blockers, and progress to senior leadership.
• Provide architectural guidance across PostgreSQL, Java/Spring, and AWS.
