Satispay is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer in the Consumer Wealth team to drive technical excellence for savings and investments. You’ll own backend design, build scalable systems, and mentor peers, using PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and microservices to empower millions of users with financial wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience in product-based companies.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining microservices and cloud environments.
• Deep experience with Java (or other OOP languages) and strong cloud platform knowledge (AWS a plus).
• Strong communication skills and ability to mentor teammates.
• Fluency in English and collaborative mindset for cross-team work.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, high-quality backend systems for savings and wealth management.
• Contribute to architecture of subsystems powering savings and investment features.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure aligned delivery of features.
• Mentor engineers and promote high-quality engineering practices.
