Job summary

OverIT is seeking an engineering leader to hire, onboard and grow a high-performing software team across Italy. You will drive architecture reviews, ensure code quality, and implement AI-native practices while mentoring engineers toward their next level.

Based in a flexible Italian environment, you will collaborate with product managers and designers, maintain delivery velocity, and balance technical debt with new features in a fast-paced SaaS setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to hire, onboard and grow engineering teams.
• Experience guiding architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Track record coaching engineers and giving constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Hire, onboard and grow a team of engineers, and run interviews.
• Lead 1:1s, set goals, and develop career paths for team members.
• Drive architecture reviews, code quality, testing and CI/CD practices.
• Foster ownership, psychological safety and open technical debate.
• Partner with product managers to shape priorities and unblock delivery.
