Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a skilled AI/Cloud Engineer in Italy to join our Information System & Digital team. You will develop generative AI-based solutions, build scalable architectures, and contribute to shared libraries used by multiple teams.

You will expose solutions via APIs and manage CI/CD with Docker, Terraform, and AWS serverless services. English and Italian fluency are required, with a remote-friendly setup and weekly Turin office presence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related fields.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience of at least 1 year in the use of generative AI models (e.g., prompt engineering, RAG) in real projects.
• Familiarity with embeddings and semantic search tools such as Pinecone.
• Experience in designing and implementing APIs.
• Practical experience on AWS, especially with serverless services.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Applied research mindset, experimentation, and rapid prototyping.
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to shared solutions.
• English good; Italian fluent or native.

Responsibilities

• Implement solutions in Python leveraging generative AI models.
• Structure cloud projects based on serverless architectures, mainly on AWS.
• Expose solutions via APIs, making them accessible to external systems and clients.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and use Docker for packaging and deployment.
• Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
• Contribute to the development of shared libraries and frameworks for internal use.
• Document solutions, share results, and contribute to the architectural evolution of the system.
