Job summary

Valsoft is seeking an Accounting Analyst to own the full accounting cycle in a hybrid role in Italy, covering AR, collections, AP, and general ledger. You’ll work with sales, operations, and finance teams to close monthly books and improve processes.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems like NetSuite or Mago. This role offers hybrid work in Italy and a path for growth within a growing software group.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, hands-on in AR, collections and AP.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end close.
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue customer invoices accurately and on time.
• Apply and reconcile customer payments by bank transfer and other methods.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
• Maintain customer AR aging reports and related reconciliations.
• Support revenue-related reconciliations and reporting.
