Job summary

Unobravo is seeking a Senior Group Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for the Italy entity, managing an in-house team of four and coordinating with external firms to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting for the Group.

You will drive process redesign, implement scalable workflows, and leverage NetSuite and AI-enabled tools to automate reconciliations, closings, and tax obligations, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting standards (OIC).
• A degree in Economics or a related field.
• Solid experience in accounting roles, with responsibility for the financial closing of Italian and foreign entities.
• Strong knowledge of consolidated financial statements and intercompany transactions.
• Solid knowledge of Italian tax legislation, particularly VAT.
• Experience working with external accounting firms.
• Previous experience managing a team of accounting professionals.
• A proven track record in redesigning or optimizing accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a four-accountant team while overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Manage general accounting of Unobravo Italia and oversee foreign subsidiaries' accounting with external firms, ensuring monthly closings.
• Coordinate statutory and group consolidated financial statements with external firms.
• Redesign end-to-end accounting processes for efficiency and scalability, leveraging NetSuite, automation, AI tools.
• Partner with management on business initiatives, assessing accounting and tax implications.
• Support audit activities with Board and external auditors.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations at consolidation.
• Define tax framework for new services and ensure compliant processes.
