Domyn is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Milan finance team. You will own the general ledger, lead monthly close, manage intercompany transactions, VAT and tax compliance under Italian GAAP (OIC), IFRS and US GAAP, and coordinate with external auditors.

The role requires 5–7 years of accounting experience, ERP and advanced Excel skills, fluent English and Italian, and the ability to work autonomously in a hybrid Milan office. We offer a base salary €40k–€50k, plus a bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting and financial reporting experience, including 2–3 years in audit.
• Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and IFRS; exposure to US GAAP is valued.

Responsabilités

• Own the general ledger and full accounting cycle including AP/AR, fixed assets, accruals and prepayments.
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closings with journal entries and cut-off testing.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
