Job summary

Valsoft is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join its finance team on a full-time, hybrid basis in Italy. You will own the day-to-day accounting cycle across AR, collections, AP, and the general ledger, ensuring accurate, timely, and audit-ready records.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, and finance colleagues to close monthly books and improve processes, bringing 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience to a growing software group with a global portfolio of

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience in AR, collections, and AP.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles with strong reconciliations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite or Mago.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Hybrid working environment experience.
• Experience in multinational or fast-paced environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with SdI electronic invoicing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and billing processes.
• Handle collections and credit control activities.
• Process vendor invoices and manage accounts payable.
• Support month-end close and general ledger reconciliations.
• Assist audits with documentation as needed.
