Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, International Trade, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in trade compliance, customs, or regulatory affairs, with a strong focus on Europe.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CTCM, or similar) are advantageous.
• English: Fluent (speaking, writing, reading).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Europe-wide trade compliance strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Advise on tariff classification (HS codes), origin rules, and duty optimization.
• Monitor export controls, sanctions, and license administration across Europe.
• Oversee customs compliance, documentation, valuation, and preferential trade utilization.
• Lead risk assessments, audits, and corrective action plans.
• Develop and deliver training programs on trade compliance requirements.
• Act as liaison with customs authorities, trade associations, and external consultants in Europe.
• Lead digitization initiatives for trade compliance processes and ERP data quality.
