Job summary

Electrolux Group in Porcia is seeking a Customs Specialist to coordinate import and export declarations across the EU, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth cross-border goods movement. You will work with customs brokers, authorities, and internal teams to manage documentation and trade compliance.

Based in our Italian administrative office with a hybrid model (80% in the office, 20% remote), the role requires 2–3 years in customs or trade, strong English, and a proactive, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, Import/Export Operations, or a related field.
• Good understanding of customs regulations and import/export procedures
• Experience with customs declarations, invoices, and trade-related documentation
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience with MIC Customs Solutions is a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and resolve customs-related issues in a timely manner.
• Flexible, proactive, and supportive approach, combined with a collaborative mindset and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate import and export customs declarations across the EU.
• Ensure customs documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with applicable regulations.
• Classify goods correctly and determine product origin in line with customs requirements.
• Act as the key point of contact for customs brokers, logistics providers, and customs authorities.
• Review invoices and supporting documentation to verify quantities, values, pricing, and customs-related information.
• Coordinate customs clearance activities and resolve customs-related issues to ensure the smooth movement of goods.
• Monitor changes in customs regulations, trade requirements, and legislative developments, assessing their impact on the business.
• Ensure compliance with sanctions, embargoes, and trade restrictions, including monitoring restricted goods and countries.
• Support the business in minimizing customs risks, avoiding delays, and maintaining compliant cross-border operations.
• Provide and update shipping instructions for sea shipments.
