Applied Materials Europe is seeking a Technical Trade Compliance Specialist to join our EMEA Trade Compliance team in Olmi di San Biagio di Callalta, TV, Italy. The role applies engineering and manufacturing knowledge to ensure compliant movement of advanced equipment, parts, and technology across borders.

You will work with cross-functional teams to interpret technical data, manage regulatory obligations, and drive process improvements while travel up to 20% may be required.

Formación

• Fluent Italian and professional English proficiency.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, or high-tech environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manuals.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated with accountability and ownership.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Support import/export, customs, and trade compliance activities for Italy and EMEA.
• Ensure compliance with customs, export controls, licensing, sanctions, and local laws.
• Assist with administration of customs authorizations, permits, and licenses.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, and Tax teams.
• Analyze engineering documents to determine customs and export control requirements.
• Assist with HS code classification and export control classification activities.
• Support regulatory audits, assessments, and compliance monitoring.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automate compliance tasks.
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and documentation management.
