Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Director of Project Controlling for the EMEA region to lead the regional project controlling organization and deliver end-to-end financial governance and performance management across the portfolio.

The role partners with EMEA Operations, BU leadership, and the Executive Team to drive forecasting accuracy, margin protection, cash optimization and standardization across countries and units.

Qualifications

• Master degree in Finance, Economics, Management Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in project controlling, finance operations or commercial finance in a complex, international, project-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting, IFRS 15 revenue recognition, US GAAP and project financial controls.
• Experience in automation, engineering, construction, supply chain solutions or EPC is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial oversight and performance management of the EMEA project portfolio with budget, forecast and strategic commitments.
• Act as trusted finance advisor to Lead ers on portfolio optimization, transformation and profitable growth.
• Lead regional portfolio and performance reviews, articulate drivers of margin, cost and variances, define corrective actions.
