Dematic is seeking a senior Controls Lead Engineer to take technical ownership across complex customer projects in EMEA. The role requires leading the Controls Engineering scope, coordinating resources, managing risk, and ensuring delivery within cost and schedule constraints.

You will work with Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Structures, Installation, Commissioning, Procurement, Manufacturing and customers, driving engineering standards and continuous improvement while mentoring

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or higher.
• 8+ years hands-on experience in industrial automation.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex projects.
• Strong Controls Engineering expertise.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate the Controls Engineering scope across complex customer projects, ensuring delivery against objectives, requirements, quality standards, budget and schedule.
• Define the Controls Engineering execution strategy, resource requirements, milestones and readiness activities.
• Support sales and handover with technical input, estimation, scheduling and solution review.
• Develop and maintain detailed design and commissioning programmes aligned with plans and milestones.
• Act as primary Controls Engineering point of contact for project stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership to teams through decision-making, risk management and escalation.
• Own and coordinate key deliverables (FDS, DOO, BOMs, procurement plans, installation docs).
• Ensure quality gates, safety validation and site-readiness at project stages.
