Saipem is seeking an offshore Electronic Engineer to support the Asset Offshore Construction team onboard vessels. You will work with the electrical team to maintain equipment and plan maintenance in line with OEM and safety standards.

• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of experience as Electronic Engineer in power & automation.

• Proficiency with Office suite, AutoCAD, and maintenance software.

Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A. SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

Purpose of the position:

As offshore Electronic Engineer, you will respond to the department lead and be part of the Asset Offshore Construction. In this role you will support the electrical team during the ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of vessel equipment.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

• Work in coordination with the electrical team to ensure that all electric and electronic equipment are well mantained
• Plan the electrical maintenance in accordance to the OEM and safety instruction
• Ensure the efficiency of Electrical /Electronic equipment on board.
• Propose to the direct supervisor the required material stock level to ensure work continuity
• Propose solutions or upgrade of equipment to improve the vessel productivity and efficiency
• Ensure that work activities are carried out in compliance with the company procedures and practices

What are we looking for?

• Education: Master's Degree/high school in: Electronic engineer or Electronic supervisor.
• Experience: 4-5 years as a Electronic Engineer within power and automation field
• Languages: Italian/English
• Technical/IT Skills: Power Generation, Power distribution, Drive control system, PLC architecture.
• Knowledge of office suite, autocad, maintenance software.

What else should you know?

The role will be allocated on board of our offshore units following the shift rotation with the back to back. Our offshore unit are located world wide, depending to project on going.

• For overseas contract (offshore): Basic Pay not lower than 38.000 € plus overseas allowances
