Saipem is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team in Milano Santa Giulia. You will be responsible for developing technical documentation and managing vendor deliverables in the energy and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in the O&G industry, with strong plant engineering design skills.

Saipem offers a permanent contract, an annual salary starting at €48,000, and corporate benefits including health insurance and a hybrid working model.

Mansioni

• Develop technical documentation for electrical equipment and manage vendor deliverables.

• Coordinate 3D model activities for the electrical discipline.

Purpose of the position: As Electrical Engineer, you will report to the Head of Electrical Engineering department and be part of the ENCAR Business line.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical documentation (specifications, data sheets, etc.) for electrical equipment (MV/LV switchboards, MCCs, transformers, distribution boards) and manage vendor deliverables.
• Define and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQ) and perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE).
• Develop and supervise plant engineering activities (cable routing, lighting layouts, earthing layouts) and follow up bulk material vendors.
• Coordinate 3D model activities for the electrical discipline and manage engineering subcontractors involved in outsourcing.
• Follow up electrical-related aspects within large mechanical equipment packages.
• Interface directly with client representatives for technical alignment and documentation reviews.
• Identify, track, and manage technical queries, deviations, and optimization opportunities.
• Contribute to the definition of electrical engineering requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Diploma.
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience as Electrical Engineer in similar activities within the O&G industry.
• Languages: English B2 level.
• Technical Skills: Plant engineering design (cable routing, lighting layouts, earthing layouts, lighting calculation), substation equipment design (switchgears, transformers, VSD, UPS, etc.).
• IT Skills: Office 365, AutoCAD, Navisworks, DiaLux.
