Aretè & Cocchi Technology in Livorno is looking for an Electrical QC Inspector. The role involves managing inspections and supporting a team to ensure compliance with the Quality Control Plan. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas sector. Proficiency in Italian and English is required. Descrizione del lavoro

As Electrical QC Inspector, you will report to the Quality Control Manager and be part of the Energy Carriers within Livorno Bioraffineria. You will manage and support 5 people.

Responsibilities

• In accordance with the Quality Control Plan, execute the specific inspections on material, equipment and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant specified procedures, issuing the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to QC Supervisor non-conformances reports.
• Check cable laying and cable identification and test in accordance to the Inspection and Test Plan the installation for electrical equipment such as but not limited to: power transformers, switchboard, accumulator battery, sockets outlet, lighting system, etc.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional test, check rating, assembly, and termination as per the drawing and tests of continuity, insulation resistance.
• Check installation, witness functional tests of Electrical Equipment and perform test of cable termination and torquing.
• Verify special processes and the relevant workers qualifications (i.e. MV Cable hi-Pot test) and witness the test and verify the test results are accordance with relevant codes and standards.
• Check conformity with the Quality Control Plan, obtain the relevant documentation, check procedures and equipment to be used in tests, controls and inspections, manage documents certifying tests, control and inspections and ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plans.
• Orderly collect and manage/check documents certifying test, controls and inspection documents, ensuring that all electrical and testing related records are properly retrievable within the final As- Built dossier and in case of subcontractor activities, ensure the correct implementation of the approved Quality Control Plans/ Inspection Test Plans, witnessing inspection and collecting relevant Quality Control records.
• Make sure all the master testing equipment’s are calibrated according to international codes and standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or high school diploma.

Experience: 5 years as a similar role within oil and gas.

Languages: Italian and English.

Technical Skills: Warehouse procedures for material preservation, construction sequences and planning, electrical basics, quality control activities, quality inspection activities, control of instrument calibration.

IT Skills: Database management, system administration.
