Costa Crociere S.p.A. cerca un Disc Jockey per l’area Shipside. Il ruolo prevede di creare l’atmosfera musicale, gestire DJ set e supportare l’intrattenimento a bordo in lounge, piscine e altre venue.

Si richiede diploma, almeno 2 anni di esperienza come DJ, conoscenza di mixing e attrezzature, e Inglese minimo B1. Opportunità di viaggi e vita di equipaggio a bordo.

Qualifications

• Diploma di scuola secondaria richiesto.
• Almeno 2 anni di esperienza come DJ in discoteche o feste.
• Conoscenza del mixing e dell'assemblaggio dell'attrezzatura.
• Inglese livello minimo B1.
• Conoscenza di vari generi musicali e cultura musicale.

Responsibilities

• Creare l'atmosfera perfetta adattando musica a diversi pubblici ed eventi.
• Offrire intrattenimento durante feste a tema e serate in nightclub.
• Supportare gli animatori con la programmazione musicale adeguata.
• Gestire musica, luci, video ed effetti durante le attività di intrattenimento.
• Monitorare lo stato delle attrezzature e mantenere la postazione DJ ordinata.
• Collaborare con i team tecnici per supportare attività di intrattenimento in diverse lounge e aree a bordo.
• Eseguire sessioni di DJ mixing e workshop per gli ospiti.

What You Will Do

Music & Guest Experience

• Create the perfect atmosphere by selecting and adapting music to different audiences, events and guest preferences.
• Deliver engaging entertainment experiences during themed parties, special events and nightclub activities.
• Support animators and entertainment teams with the most suitable musical programming for each activity.

Entertainment & Technical Operations

• Manage music, lighting, videos and special effects during entertainment activities.
• Monitor equipment conditions, maintain an organized DJ station and report technical issues when needed.
• Collaborate with technical teams to support entertainment activities across lounges, pools and other onboard venues.
• Deliver DJ mixing sessions and workshops for guests, creating additional engagement and revenue opportunities.

Collaboration & Teamwork

• Work closely with entertainment and technical teams to ensure seamless event execution.
• Contribute to a positive, energetic and collaborative onboard environment.
• Adapt your performances to different audiences, occasions and guest expectations.

Safety & Professional Standards

• Follow safety procedures and operational standards in all activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture while maintaining high levels of professionalism and service quality.

Who You Are

Required

• Secondary school Diploma.
• At least 2 years of experience as a DJ in discotheques and/or parties.
• Knowledge of mixing, assembling equipment, and an excellent music culture.
• English knowledge (at least B1 level).
• Good knowledge of 70s, 80s, and 90s music, as well as commercial, Reggaeton, House, and Group Dance music.
• Passionate about music and creating great vibes.
• Energetic, engaging and guest-oriented.
• Creative, adaptable and crowd-savvy.
• Collaborative and positive.
• Professional and reliable.

Nice to Have

• Previous onboard experience is considered an advantage.

Gross annual salary starts from 14.937 €. To that amount shall be added variable items, when applicable.
