Teare Selection seeks a Sourcing & Category Manager — Direct Materials to own Europe-wide direct materials categories within a global engineering group. You will lead end-to-end sourcing from strategy to supplier negotiation, contracting and SRM to deliver validated EBIT improvements.

Based at a European distribution or manufacturing site with preferred locations including Umbria, you will shape the sourcing playbook, drive should-cost analyses, and manage ESG compliance while coordinating

Competenze

• 5–7+ years in procurement with category management and strategic sourcing.
• Exposure to engineered materials, automotive or smart infrastructure sectors is a plus.
• Degree in business, engineering or supply chain; MCIPS/ISCM preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver validated savings and working capital improvement across Europe.
• Execute category strategy, sourcing waves, and supplier negotiations.
• Manage full contract lifecycle and SRM for key suppliers.
• Lead risk management, ESG due diligence and governance evidence.
