Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a seasoned Indirect Procurement Category Manager in Italy. The role focuses on gathering global requirements, running RFXs, and delivering reporting to support decisions, while driving cost reductions and supplier performance improvements.

You will lead negotiations, manage contracts with suppliers, and apply AI tools to optimize category strategies, ensuring alignment across regional and global teams. Fluent English and a 7+ years track record are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years in Indirect Procurement Category Management.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Experience with SAP Ariba and SAP tools.
• Proven track record in international procurement and cost reduction.
• Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, with opportunity identification.
• 3–5 years around MS Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.).
• Experience presenting to senior management on a routine basis.
• Analytical and financial acumen including cost modelling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Strategic thinking with experience in a matrix organisation and negotiation.

Mansioni

• Gather global specifications for RFXs and auctions via e-Sourcing and report global status.
• Document and track KPIs to monitor supplier performance.
• Develop and deliver PowerPoint presentations to executives.
• Consolidate procurement through catalogs and framework agreements.
• Apply ML/AI tools to define category strategies and total cost of ownership.
• Facilitate procurement processes to align regional and global teams.
• Engage in projects early to drive category development and growth.
• Lead strategic sourcing projects and supplier selection using best practices.
• Lead negotiations and development of key contracts with suppliers, legal, and finance.
• Develop risk management strategies and identify alternative sourcing.
• Lead supplier enablement and manage strategic supplier relationships.
• Optimize digital cataloguing, including Punchouts, for key contracts.
• Gather customer scorecard data and lead Supplier Executive Business Reviews.
