Salute Inc. in Milan is seeking a Data Center Engineer (Junior) to join a team responsible for electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems in a mission-critical data center.

You will handle planned maintenance, daily operations, and incident response to ensure uptime above 99.999%. The role requires collaboration with Data Facilities Engineers, clients, and vendors, and involves a 2-shift pattern including night shifts.

Competenze

• Basic knowledge of site facility infrastructure regarding power, thermal management and associated systems.
• Working knowledge of facility equipment including pumps, compressors, CRACs, UPS, generators, switch gear, BMS, life-safety systems.
• Test and install data center infrastructure equipment and services with senior staff.
• Ensure operational services meet customer SLA in terms of performance, reliability, escalation and communication.
• Resolve service-affecting incidents with vendors and/or clients.

Mansioni

• Test and install data center infrastructure equipment and services with senior colleagues and vendors.
• Maintain and monitor electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety systems to meet SLA expectations.
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and place service calls when needed.
• Provide data center white space support including monitoring, reporting, and day-to-day maintenance.
• Generate end-user performance reports and communicate outages to stakeholders.
