Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. is seeking a Data Center Chief Engineer in the Greater Milan Area to ensure peak performance of electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems in our data centers.

The CE coordinates maintenance, safety, and vendor coordination while driving regional projects. You will lead on-site engineering operations, manage large-scale initiatives from conception to completion, and mentor Engineering Operations Technicians.

Competenze

• Demonstrate key electrical competencies (Practice & Theory).
• Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, Controls).
• Ability to draft accurate support procedures and document issues in English.
• Ability to take full ownership of technical issues.
• Willing to travel between Data Center sites, and internationally if required.
• Solid IT skills; MS Office knowledge.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in data centers
• Assist in design and build out of new facilities
• Serve as escalation point for facilities-related issues and support site stability
• Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures
• Provide training and guidance to technicians and support recruitment
• Ensure safety procedures are adhered to by vendor and Amazon staff

Formazione
