Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. is seeking a Data Center Operations Manager for our Milan site to lead a 24/7 infrastructure team. You will manage technical staff, ensure service levels, and drive efficiency in data center operations.

The role requires strong people management, project delivery, and IT operations expertise, with a focus on safety, documentation, and on-call readiness. This is a full-time, on-site position in Milan.

Competenze

• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Direct people management experience with project delivery across competing priorities.
• Understanding of IT operations and service management practices.

Mansioni

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Center Technicians and engineers.
• Oversee 24/7 operations, on-call rotations, and incident response.
• Review tickets, manage mid-size projects, and implement policies to meet SLAs.
• Participate in hiring and performance reviews.
