Vertiv Group Corporation in Bologna is seeking a Presales Electrical Engineer to join an interdisciplinary team focused on data center and critical infrastructure design, including AI-enabled concepts and clean energy considerations. The role involves concept design of electrical power systems, LV/MV distribution, and coordination with architectural, mechanical, and controls disciplines.

Requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and 5+ years of experience, plus strong English and CAD

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
Proficient in electrical power system design and sizing.
Experience with load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination.
Strong written and oral communication across engineering teams.
Proficient with Windows, MS Office (Excel, Word) and AutoCAD.
Active English language proficiency.

Mansioni

Concept design of data center electrical power systems and architectures, including AI design requirements.
Design LV and MV power distribution, UPS, busbar, transformers.
Develop and review electrical load calculations, arc flash, short circuit studies.
Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, controls and fire protection teams.
Read and interpret RFPs and tender documents; develop modular data center solutions.
