Vertiv Bologna seeks a Pre-Sales Engineering Team Leader responsible for guiding a multidisciplinary engineering team through proposal design for modular data centers and associated facilities. The role combines technical solution development across architecture, civil, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, monitoring, control systems and fire protection with strong leadership and customer-focused collaboration.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Pre-Sales Engineering Team Leader for Integrated Solutions plays a key role during the early stages of projects and proposal development for our customers. This position requires competencies across multiple technical disciplines (architecture, civil, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, monitoring and control systems, and fire protection) necessary for developing technical solutions. The role also demands people management and leadership skills, as well as the ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and proposals from both technical and business perspectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leading a multidisciplinary team of engineers, developing design during the proposal phase of projects (modular data centers, power rooms, cable landing stations)
• Reading and understanding RFQs and tender documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

• Computer skills: proficient user of Windows, MS Office incl. Excel (A), Word (A), PowerPoint (A), AutoCAD

• Fluent in English

The anticipated salary range for this role in the Bologna locality is between 52,000 - 65,000 Euro gross per year (based on a 40-hour work week)—salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the initial interview. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.

The applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for this role is Metalmeccanico Industria.
