Vertiv is seeking a Lead Presales Electrical Engineer to join the Londonderry team. You will design electrical power systems for data centers, perform critical electrical calculations, and collaborate with mechanical, architectural, and controls disciplines to deliver innovative infrastructure solutions.

The role emphasizes applying theory to practice, engaging with customers, and delivering modular, scalable data center concepts in a fast-moving environment.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in electrical power system design.
• Proficient in electrical power system design and sizing of equipment.
• Knowledge of load calculations, short circuit and protection coordination studies.
• Strong written and oral communication across engineering and manufacturing teams.
• PC skills: Windows, MS Office, Excel, Word, AutoCAD.

Mansioni

• Concept design of electrical power systems for data centers and critical infrastructure.
• Perform load calculations, arc flash, short circuit and protection studies.
• Prepare electrical single-line diagrams and system configurations.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, controls and fire protection teams.
• Read and interpret RFPs and tender documents.
• Develop modular data center solutions and quotations.
