Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. seeks a hands-on electrical/Facilities Technician to operate and maintain AWS data center infrastructure in Milan. The role focuses on safety, reliability, and 24/7 coverage, with shift-based work including nights and weekends.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor critical equipment, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure high availability and compliance with safety standards.

Competenze

• Professional or formal Electrical Certification or Apprentice/trades certified or diploma in an Electrical field.
• Demonstrate key electrical competencies (Practice & Theory) & knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, controls).
• Knowledge of fire detection and suppression systems.
• Valid driving license (required for shift-based schedule)

Mansioni

• Hands-on operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment in AWS data centers.
• Operate and monitor fire detection and suppression systems.
• Perform routine inspections and testing per AWS standards and local regulations.
• Coordinate and oversee contractor work when specialized services are required.
• Respond to alarms and perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs.
