Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineering Operations Senior Technician to deploy, operate, and maintain a large-scale, high-density AWS data center.

You will handle electrical and mechanical systems, fire protection, and building automation, reporting to the Facilities Manager. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on maintenance, SOP/EOP/MOP development, and collaboration with internal teams and contractors.

Competenze

• Professional or formal Electrical Certification or Apprentice/trades certified or diploma in an Electrical field.
• Hands-on experience with critical facility operations and maintenance preferred.
• Experience with building automation systems and fire protection equipment a plus.

Mansioni

• Operate, monitor, and maintain electrical, mechanical, fire protection and control systems including UPS, switchgear, diesel generators, HVAC, and fire suppression.
• Draft, review and publish SOPs, EOPs and MOPs for in-house activities.
• Review vendor documentation for preventative maintenance (RAMS).
• Perform routine inspections and testing of fire alarm panels and suppression systems.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems and work with the engineering team within SLAs.
• Take daily readings of all equipment and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Manage tickets for Preventive and Corrective Maintenance (CMMS) and incident management.
