Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. is seeking a Controls Engineer for Construction (BMS/EPMS) to oversee building automation systems within AWS data centers.

You will work with the Data Center Engineering Operations teams to implement new builds and upgrades, ensuring high availability and resiliency of control systems. The role requires a background in electrical/mechanical engineering, together with project management and knowledge of control systems and instrumentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience carrying new design concepts from exploration to deployment.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Mansioni

• Understand electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, HVAC.
• Define project scope and specifications based on customer needs.
• Manage scope relative to site specifics and customer needs; align with design intent.
• Read and interpret specifications and implement in the work environment.
• Develop control panel BOMs and ISA data sheets for instruments and valves.
• Create drawings for control panels, power distribution, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare cable routing plans and schedules; supervise on-site deployment and commissioning.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
