Amazon Data Services Italy S.R.L. is seeking a Field Engineer to provide full life‑cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through upgrades and maintenance. You will drive critical infrastructure projects in a rapidly expanding fleet.

The role requires strong engineering judgment, field experience, and the ability to collaborate with operations, design, and safety teams. Travel between sites, both domestic and international, and a comfort with a mix of office and field work are

Competenze

• Experience with mission critical facilities, esp. data centers.
• Business‑level fluency in written and spoken English.
• Willing to travel between Data Center sites, and internationally if required.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Review design and equipment submittals for new Data Centers.
• Troubleshoot, conduct RCA and create CA documentation for failures.
• Support operational issues with ad‑hoc training and SOP reviews.
• Own conceptual design for upgrades to add capacity and improve availability.
• Interface with operations, design engineering, server hardware, and EHS teams.
• Lead engineering audits and on‑site visits; produce risk reports.
