Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Milano, Lombardia seeks a hands-on electrical and mechanical infrastructure technician for AWS-owned data centers. The role requires operating and maintaining UPS, switchgear, generators, HVAC, fire systems, and associated controls, with a focus on reliability and safety.

The position is shift-based and on-site, with duties including readings, preventive maintenance, document control, and collaboration with internal teams to optimize capacity and infrastructure

Competenze

• Professional electrical certification or diploma is required.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, controls, and safety practices.
• Valid driving license is required for shift-based schedule.

Mansioni

• Hands-on operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Follow and enforce AWS safety standards and procedures on site.
• Perform routine inspections, readings, and tests of equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot events within SLAs and coordinate with teams for repairs.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and coordinate with site teams.
